JEANINE NESBIT (PIANIST / KEYBOARDIST / VOCALIST) is a Grammy-award
winning musician from St. Paul - Minneapolis, MN. Working with artists such as Prince, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as well as touring with Luther Vandross, she has had various appearances on National TV Shows and National tours and performed internationally in Europe. . . Jeanine is a member of the group Sounds of Blackness becoming a recipient a Grammy-Award and Gold Record for their first release “Evolution of Gospel” with the Billboard top 10 hit “Optimistic”. Jeanine relocated to Central Florida where she continued work as a minister of music, founded a new jazz group De’Vine Soul (releasing “DS One”) and internationally with various Pop, Jazz & R&B groups. Jeanine is a former Walt Disney World Production Manager and continues as a Musical Director for various theatre productions (The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Once on the Island, Rock of Ages, Elf the Musical and the Color Purple). Jeanine has performed on stages at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and, the Dr. Phillips for the Center of the Arts in Orlando. She was also Keyboardist/vocalist for Prince, Gwen Stefani and Michael Jackson tribute artist in Central Florida. Jeanine’s production company MUSICIAN OF VIRTUE ENTERPRISES (MOVE) includes three bands - the all-female band DIVAS OF JAZZ, all-female Pop/R&B band AUDACITY and smooth jazz band JAZZERY. She is currently co-producing and music directing a tribute to Quincy Jones, and she will debut her tribute to Roberta Flack (Killing Me Softly with Her Song) in spring 2026. Jeanine is known for performing various styles of music including, Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock, American Song and Latin music. Jeanine is currently in production for solo recording project. She is a staff teacher for a charter school in Kissimmee, where she teaches Music and Fine Arts, and teaches Piano.

The festival features established jazz artists, emerging talents as well as local performers to expose women in jazz through our annual festival. It is a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, where we bring the community together who share a love for jazz music.
